Reaching New Heights
Yes, the tickets may be cheap, but if you have had enough of being cattle-herded onto an uncomfortable plane that then flies you to an airport in the middle of nowhere and charges an extortionate amount for basic refreshments, you might be interested to hear about duo. They are a new European airline flying from two UK airports, Birmingham and Edinburgh, to 15 European cities. Despite the low prices (flights from £ 29 one way), duo offers a full business–class service, including a complimentary menu, drinks and newspapers. They offer three types of fare, depending on your requirements: duo Privilege (which entitles customers to additional benefits and the possibility of changing plans without additional expense), duo Advantage and duo Websaver. On March 28 new routes will be introduced, including flights between Munich and Edinburgh. For further information visit
