April 2004
Egg on
Is your heart sinking at the thought of playing the Easter Bunny again this year? Well, instead of having to get up early on Easter Sunday to hide chocolates in the house plants for the kids again, you could take them to the Easter egg hunt at the Munich Zoo. Some 45,000 Easter eggs will be hidden in the grounds of the zoo between Easter Sunday and Monday and kids of all ages are invited to come out and join this incredible hunt. What could be easier? During the week of April 5–9, the zoo is holding a drawing contest for children, with a grand prize of 1 kg of Lindt chocolate for the lucky winner. For further information visit
www.zoo-munich.de. Alternatively on April 11 Radio Arabella will be hosting an Easter Fest in front of the Olympic Tower from 10 am to 3 pm. An interactive garden will be set up, with 20 1 meter high Easter eggs for kids to color and costumed and live bunnies roaming the grounds. Radio personality Sabine Buchmeier will host a series of games and contests that are open to kids of all ages. With spectacular prizes to be won, it is worth it to head over to the Olympic Park early to guarantee yourself a spot in the proceedings. Perhaps best of all, a huge open air kitchen will be on site for kids to bake and decorate their favorite Easter goodies.
