Calling all Munich’s inline skaters! No more impatiently waiting for the weekend: from May 3, the weekly Blade Night season will begin again.
Now into its fifth year, this Monday night event will take place along four alternating routes—an additional special route is planned for families on Whit Monday, May 31, beginning at 7 pm on Wredestrasse. Unfortunately in the past there have been many complaints from the general public about the disruption caused by skaters. To ease the congestion that results from up to 20,000 skaters taking to the streets, the starting time for the
18 Blade Nights planned this summer will be 9 pm rather than 8:30 pm
as in previous years. Organizers are still recruiting blade guards.
