A-round in Munich
You may have noticed
it driving along the Georg-Brauchle-Ring—a large dome perched on top of the
Parkhaus next to the Olympic Tower, decorated to look like a globe.
This construction which is, in fact, made of parachute silk, is called Earth Lounge and belongs to the BMW Museum. For the next three years the lounge and an adjacent hall will be used for exhibitions and conferences on and around the topic of environmental protection. The hall is currently home to an exhibition on sustainability, which is open to the public every Sat. and Sun. from 10 am to 6 pm. For information on upcoming conferences send a mail to
