June 2004
Live here, vote there
Hey, Americans in Munich, are you ready to re-elect the current administration, or ready to send them packing?
Your Vote is your Voice. That’s the theme of the upcoming Amerika Haus, Voter Registration
(Marathon) Day—the first-ever 12-hour event on June 22—dedicated to making sure you get your absentee ballot request completed and mailed in time.
Beginning at 9 am at Amerika Haus, (Karolinenplatz 3), it will be attended by representatives from the U.S. Consulate, Democrats Abroad, Republicans Abroad and “Americans Overseas for Kerry.” Prof. Mark Rozell will be giving a speech on the different parties and their goals. American-style refreshments will be available all day, the bar opens at 5 pm and an entertainment program starts at 6 pm. See the Website
