Talking Politics
The US presidential elections are drawing closer. If you still haven’t made your mind up how you’ll vote on November 2, or if you are simply interested in the campaign issues, head to the Amerika Haus in Munich (Karolinenplatz 3) on September 28, when John McQueen, member of Democrats Abroad, and Henry Nickel, Chair of Republicans Abroad, will respond to questions and debate the political platforms of George W. Bush and John Kerry. The event, which will be opened by US Consul General Matthew Rooney, starts at 6 pm. It is being organized by the American Association of University and Professional Women (AAUPW) and the Amerika Haus.
American citizens who still haven’t registered to vote should do so as soon as possible. Information can be found at
