Ride on!
On September 3 and 4 the Olympic riding arena at Riem will be transformed into a Spanish celebration honoring
the 10th anniversary of the Day of the Iberian Horse. The stars of the show
will be the impressively decorated Iberian horses and the best horse
farms from across Europe will be present. There will be a “horses of the kings” dressage competition, of which the head judge is Marc de Broissia, one of the leading trainers of Baroque horses in Europe, plus colorful Feria-Riding. Amateurs and pros will be on hand to demonstrate, among other things, elements of the
Doma Clasica
(Classical School), the work of the
Vaqueros (cowboys), performance on
the long rein and corrida riding. Live Flamenco music, dancing and Spanish treats, such as
tapas and
vino tinto, will make the fiesta a day to remember and bring a touch of the Mediterranean
to Munich. Tickets cost € 10 per day. Further information and program details are available at
