Winklstüberl
This is a real gem. It’s about 60 km outside Munich, but the cakes are beautiful. They’re definitely worth the trip out there, and the drive
is nice too—the scenery’s lovely. This is my favorite place to go when I’ve got a quiet afternoon to myself.

Again, it’s all about views. I love to get a table on the first floor, where
I can look out on Munich’s principal opera house, the Nationaltheater. It’s a wonderful sight.
