All White on the Night
Love it or loathe it, country music has finally reached the funky heights of Munich’s club scene. The Registratur in the old Stadtwerke at Blumenstrasse has just introduced a White Trash night (inspired by Johnny Cash’s
Country Trash and Everlast’s
White Trash Beautiful), on the first Tuesday of each month. The man behind the somewhat brave development is DJ John Ohne Land, who by day goes under the name of Hans Deumling and teaches at the Fachhochschule. He discovered country music when he tired of listening to the same old rock groups, and was hired for the slot after meeting club owner American
