BeMe & Impact
March 13–March 31:
Two English-language theater groups will present splendid performances at Einstein Kulturzentrum and Teamtheater Tankstelle.
BoomPremiere: March 13The BeMe Theatre will perform a play by one of America's most popular playwrights these days, Peter Sinn Nachtrieb, at the Einstein Kulturzentrum. In "Boom" Nachtrieb, who holds a degree in Theater and Biology, joins both his fields of expertise and muses on the beginning and ending of life. Doomsday meets speculations on evolution in the most hilarious way, when after a catastrophic event a gay grad student is trapped with a sassy female journalist, who does not care for children. "Boom" will be performed Tuesday through Saturday until March 31 at 8 pm. Tickets cost € 18 (€ 28 for the opening night) and can be ordered by calling (089) 385 377 66 or email to

SplitPremiere: March 14The Impact theater group was formed in 2009 to bring together actors, musicians and performers committed to staging entertainment in English. Their latest effort on show at the Teamtheater Tankstelle will comprise two one-act plays. The motto of the night will be "Split" hinting at the main theme of both presented plays—torn identities. In "The Donahue Sisters" by Irish playwright Geraldine Aron, three sisters reunite at their mother's funeral and are forced to face a family secret of the past. "The Author's Voice" by American dramatist Richard Greenberg follows an editor and her latest novelist discovery as she starts doubting weather the handsome writer she has met has indeed written the wonderful book on hand. Both short plays will be performed until March 24. Tickets cost € 18 and are available by calling (089) 260 43 33 or go to
