October 29–October 31:
Various Munich venues will celebrate Halloween in many different styles. MUNICHfound has selected the spookiest events in town for partiers and the whole family.
Halloween All AreasOctober 29, 10 pm:The 27 clubs of the Kultfabrik will join forces for a night of ghosts and goblins. Dark Gothic and Wave tunes will be the main soundtrack of the night, but some clubs will also plays happier melodies for party-loving ghosts and goblins. In addition, a "gore store" will provide Halloween accessories for undisguised revelers and make-up artists will put on horrific faces. For more information, visit

Kubrik HalloweenOctober 31:Lenbach will take a fancy approach to the freaky holiday. Inspired by the movie "Eyes Wide Shut", Lenbach promises a classy dinner, including a witch soup and scallop skulls. After the culinary part, Lenbach will greet the undead with champagne. Halloween at the PubOctober 31:Killian's Pub will represent the Irish part of the holiday, whose roots go back to the Gaelic festival Samhain. The Chris Aron Band will play spooky rock'n'roll and classics of the 1950s. For more information, check

Rocking HalloweenOctober 31, 6 pm-12 am:Those, who wish to dance with vampires and witches to the sound of noisy guitars should head to the party halls of Backstage, which will feature a Halloween clubbing zone with metal music, alternative rock and 80s trash. For more information, visit

Charity Halloween
October 30:
Language school, Sphairos, will host a Halloween afternoon for kids at the Amerika Haus. Filled with fun games, the event will also do something good. All the proceeds of the entrance fee will go to a nursing ward for newborns with breathing anomalies. Registration is required previous to the event at halloween@sphairos.de. Brass Halloween
October 31, 8 pm:
Scotsman Bob Ross and his Blechschaden brass band will give a haunting concert at the Prinzregententheater. Consisting of members of the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra, the band will comprise classical tunes with jazz, pop and rock sounds, all of which will be dedicated to the haunting creatures of this special night. Halloween for Kids
October 31:
Hard Rock Café will host a "Trick or Treat" breakfast on two mornings. Between 9 am and 11 am, small vampires, witches and ghosts will be entertained by a kids' program, while parents may indulge in an American breakfast buffet. Reservation is required by calling (089) 24 29 490. Once the kids are at home, parents and their eerie friends may continue the party at 9 pm with rock cover band Gunz 'n' Roses.
