The Munich Junior Book Show will open its doors at the Munich City Museum, where young bibliophiles will get the chance to browse through volumes every day from 9 am to 7 pm. Apart from the book exhibition, the event will also host readings with popular children's book authors and several excursions. Among the destinations will be the International Youth Library and the publishing house Mixtvision. However, the Junior Book Show will also collaborate with institutions that are not necessarily book-related but introduce children to different professions. Among the places to be visited will be the Central Market Hall, the rehearsal room of the Bavarian State Ballet and a carpenter's workshop.
