Throughout the week Vietnamnese restaurant, Charlie, located in the Giesing district merely serves diners excellent Asian food. Every Saturday, however, Charlie also opens its basement for drinks and music. A former bowling alley beneath the restaurant has been turned into a bar. Entirely held in black and only illuminated by a LED installation, Charlie Bar hosts a line-up of local DJs who are mostly appreciated by Munich's emerging hip crowd.
