Right behind the pedestrian zone stands a high-rise bunker overgrown with ivy. Built in 1941, the bunker served as an accommodation for refugees for a short period of time, but soon after the war the four-storey building was deserted for decades. Only recently, a group of Munich party organizers have rediscovered the location and have turned parts of the buiilding into a nightclub. From Wednesday through Saturday Herr Hotter currently hosts live concerts and parties featuring electronic music. Those interested in visiting the party bunker should go there soon, though. Herr Hotter is only a temporary project and will most likely close its doors at the beginning of summer 2012.
