backBar: Ed Moses
Information:
Across from the Haus der Kunst and the famous nightclub P1, resides the small but swank Ed Moses bar. The crowd is young—20-something, hip-to-the-scene and extremely flirtatious. Party-goers cozy up on the black leather benches, flanked by tiny metallic tables with plants and oddly-shaped lamps. Singles mingle and bob their heads to the funky DJ mix bumping in the background while gazing up at a light installation of Plexiglas pipes hanging from the ceiling and bearing interesting images and color schemes. Three of the bar’s walls are actually (nearly) floor-to-ceiling windows, providing a view of the action on Prinzregentenstrasse, as well as a visual escape for those seeking a breather from the action inside.
Serving as a piece of eye candy itself, the bar has a gold metallic front and boasts a wide variety of drinkcocktails, long drinks, wines and beers.
